Paper pulp sculpting workshop with Jane Lennon

Have fun, be green and make beautiful, unique objects. A Paper Pulp Sculpture workshop for adults and children is being offered at the BMCAC on Monday April 12, from 10am to 4pm.

Award winning artist Jane Lennon is known for her brightly coloured, quirky paper pulp sculptures. Jane has developed a technique using discarded office paper to make a clay-like substance that can be formed or used as a coating. When dried, painted and sealed the material is quite robust.

Using a variety of papier-mâché and paper pulp techniques in this environmentally friendly class, participants will transform recycled paper and packaging into durable objects, be encouraged to use their imagination and be creative.

Sculpting materials will be provided, but bring along your acrylic paints to finish off your creations. BYO Lunch. For more information contact Jane on 47531030.
